YONI STEAM USER GUIDE
Please read through all of this to obtain a good understanding to do what is best for you and your body.
NEVER STEAM DURING THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
Extremely Hot Weather (unless you have AC)
After insemination when trying to conceiver
When prone to heavy or spontaneous bleeding between periods
WHEN STEAMING IS OK
Bacteria or Yeast Infections
High Blood Pressure
For your own pleasure to heighten your physical and mental health and well being!
It is beneficial to cover with a cloak while doing a steam session, which helps you stay warm and assists with a full body detox.
You can use a lightweight blanket, sheet, towel, or robe.
Do not use anything plastic.
If you are in a very hot environment or your body has a lot of signs of excess heat or infections, a cloak is not necessary. Just make sure you are in a comfortable, private space to do your session where you can be fully unclothed.
HOW TO USE MILD STEAM
If this is your first time steaming, you should use the mild setup a couple of times to get used to the procedure.
Use the mild setup if you have:
Short menstrual cycles (27 days or less), Excess heat (hot flashes, nightsweats, infections, burning sensation), Fresh bleeding or spotting in between periods (or more then one period per month)
Use the kitchen stove or setup an electric burner outside of the sauna, then place the herb pot on top of the burner, fill up with 1-2 liters of water.
Add 3 tablespoons of your blend, and put the herb pot lid on.
Turn up the burner to medium and let the herbs cook for 10 minutes. Afer 10 minutes, carefully move the pot into the steam sauna, making sure you have a hot plate underneath the pot to prevent burning of the floor or whatever surface underneath.
Place the pot in your sauna, remove the lid, making sure the steam is not too hot for you. If you are comfortable with the temperature, your session is ready to go. Remove bottoms, and have a seat.
Steam for no longer then 15 minutes.
HOW TO USE AN ADVANCED STEAM
The advances steam setup is for those who want to steam for longer sessions, or more heat.
Place an electric burner outside or in the sauna, with a hot plate underneath for extra heat protection of the surface under the burner. ALWAYS make sure the cord is out of the way and not close to the coils.
Place the herb pot on top of the burner, and fill up with 1-2 liters of water.
Add 3 tablespoons of your blend, put the herb pot lid on, turn up to medium, and let herbs cook for 10 minutes.
TIP: I recommend heating outside of the sauna, and then once you are ready to take the lid off of the pot, pick up your sauna and put right over top of the burner and pot.
If you choose to heat up the burner and pot in the sauna, LEAVE THE LID OF THE SAUNA OFF so that it does not get too hot inside the sauna.
After ten minutes, put your sauna over the pot, and take the lid off, or if you had the burner inside the sauna, lift lid off of the pot and put lid on.
Make sure the steam is at a heat that you are comfortable with, and you are ready to go!
Remove bottoms, and sit on your sauna. You may turn the burner on low, steam for 8 minutes until the steam starts to decrease.
After some time, when you are ready for more steam or heat, you may turn the burner back up to medium heat.
Steam no longer then 30 minutes in the beginning. Keeping an eye on temperature and steam, turning it from low to medium, whichever you are comfortable with.
DO NOT switch to high or else you will burn yourself!
ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU ARE HYDRATED AND DRINK WATER OR ICED HERBAL TEA DURING AND BEFORE YOUR SESSION.
WHAT TO DO DURING YOUR SESSION
RELAX! RELAX! RELAX!
Do your best to let go of everything, and be stress free and in the present moment for this time. This is a time you set aside for YOU. This is your time to heal, physically, emotionally, and mentally. Just sit there, in complete silence, listen to some beautiful music, or a guided meditation.

You may discard your herbs or you can put them in a jar into the fridge and use one more time, must be used within a couple days.
Discard them into a waste basket, or compost.
Use a soft designated sponge and wash the herb pot out with water and non toxic dish soap (I use Dr. Bronner’s for everything!)
You may also disinfect it afterwards as well. Use apple cider vinegar, alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide.
Make sure you also wipe or spray down the steam seat with apple cider vinegar, alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide. Wipe dry the inside of your sauna as well.
